NOT YOUR AVERAGE MEXICAN BAND

Electro rockers from south of the border, AUDIONAUTAS' music reflects their broad tastes and that comes across in the sounds and styles they mix, they like a bit of everything. Mario-C. and crew have been working together on material since 2007, they are busy working on new tracks and they finally have completed their line up.

Never say purists, they all have a hard rock background but as their musical knowledge evolved they began to appreciate other styles and began to incorporate them into their sound ... expanding pop and electronic sounds with that rock energy.

Even without an official release (which it's on its way) they scored an endorsement deal with Lee jeans co. the guys at Lee wanted to get involved with Audionautas and support them the minute they heard their music.

Aesthetics and detail play a big part in their sound, no other Mexican band sounds like AUDIONAUTAS.

14 de Febrero en el Zócalo

(english follows spanish)

Tuvimos la primera presentación del año el 14 de Febrero en el Zócalo, un increíble lugar para tocar, para el evento "Amor es sin Violencia" cuyo objetivo es ayudar a crear conciencia contra la violencia hacia las mujeres, para nosostros fué una fantástica forma de abrir el año y participar en una buena causa, tocar con el Zócalo de escenario y fondo fué simplemente espectacular.

We had our first 2010 gig at Mexico's City downtown square which is an incredible historic place with a great vibe, if you've ever been to that place you just know, the aztec people used to have temples there, the view from the stage was simply beautiful, we had one of the greatest cathedrals of the world by our side, it really was a great way to start our year.
